Hand Stamped jewellery is made by hand hammering letter stamps individually into metal. As each letter is hand stamped, (by hand) no machines, lazers or computers are used in this process therefore there maybe slight differences in letter depth, spacing and alignment of your personalised piece. This is what gives hand stamping its own unique charm. No two pieces will ever be the same.
You personalise your piece to tell your story by stamping – your name, your family names, husband, children, parents, partner, friends, favourite quote – ANYTHING! All designs are personalised by you, this is your story, I just put the pieces together.
INFORMATION ABOUT MATERIALS I USE;
STAINLESS STEEL;
Stainless Steel is a very hard and durable metal. You may wish to clean it on occasion by dipping it in some warm water with some dishwashing liquid in it to clean the surface. Stainless Steel will not tarnish but whilst durable can be scratched if rubbed too hard. It won't need polishing or upkeep so is a fabulous and affordable silver/gold alternative.
IP Plating (Ion plating) Gold and Rose Gold- The centre of the circle is stainless steel and the outside has a layer of titanium oxide, which can be used as a pigment (gold, rose gold) and has the same non allergenic properties as stainless steel. The process turns the titanium oxide into electric ions which becomes a harder and more durable coating with a higher brightness than that produced through traditional plating methods. With all plating methods though the ion plating for the Gold and Rose Gold designs will show signs of wear
Things to remember to make your personalised piece last are avoid harsh chemicals, creams and perfumes etc this is directly on or near your design. Avoid your design rubbing against another metal or rough surface. Do not use any chemicals to clean your design or micro pads as this will rub the colour, all you need is warm soapy water and a damp cloth. With stainless steel you do not have to take off for showering etc but it is advised to do so to make your design and colouring last longer

What is the difference between blackened letters and plain letters?
You can choose to have your letters bare (left plain) or inked. Plain letters will be the same colour as your pendant (the engraved look), while blackened letters are filled in with ink and will stand out more.
Will the blackened letters fade?
Unfortunately there is a chance over time your inking could fade. This is due to humidity, acidic skin, lotions, water etc but with proper care your inking should not fade
What chain would you like?
You have three chains to choose from. Rollo, Cable and fine cable (which is only available/suitable for specific designs). You can find a demo picture of these within each designs photo gallery.
REFUNDS
Due to the personalisation of my products, items cannot be returned or exchanged. No refunds or exchanges are given if you decide to change your mind after your order has been stamped. If you are un happy with the final product there is no refund or exchange.
If a name or word is misspelled by myself when stamping, I will restamp your order.
If however the item is faulty at the time you receive I will happily replace or refund
Refunds are available on damaged or faulty pieces only. Damaged or faulty items must be returned within 14 days of receipt, via Registered Post with tracking for confirmation, you will receive a refund on the cost of item only or replacement of identical item of the same value
All earrings are final sale.
WARRANTY - Once all packages leave the FNH office for the post we can not be held responsible for any loss within Australia post.
FNH offer a replacement of faulty items within a 14 DAY period only.

Q: CAN I DESIGN MY OWN CUSTOM ORDER?
A: If you don’t see anything that quite suits you from the Fox N Hound range i am more than happy to work with you to design your personalised one of a kind piece. Please always ask if there isn't something you are looking for.
Q: WILL LAYERED PENDANTS SCRATCH?
A: Unfortunatley Yes, items that are designed to be layered on top of each other or swing freely will rub over time which may cause scratching and dulling of the metal; this is not considered a flaw, but a distinctive characteristic that hand stamped jewellery is recognised. Pendants hung together or added charms will eventually gain surface scratching over time.. A regular polish with a polish cloth can often remove slight scratches, but deeper marks/dents cannot be removed
Q: WILL MY ORDER BE PHOTOGRAPHED AND PLACED ON FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM?
A: Yes some designs will be photographed and displayed on Facebook. Ensure that a comment is left when ordering if you DO NOT wish for a photograph of your order to be posted on social media.
Q: WILL STAINLESS GOLD/ROSE GOLD FADE?
A: This is a very hard question (yes and no) I have had friends and family test my plating methods with majority having no problems at all with fading or discolouring of the design (my own mother has tested the Gold QOH design in water, salt water etc for over 3 years and has not discoloured at all) than I have people whom no matter how well they take care of their design the colour will just draw from their peronalised piece. This is due to the acid in your skin. Some people have alot more acid in their skin which will draw the colouring/plating from the design.
Q: CAN I CANCEL/CHANGE MY ORDER?
I am more than happy to make changes ONLY if your order is not on the work bench ready for stamping or has already been stamped. Please message or email me asap if you require changes.
Please note FNH do not replace or take responsibility of any items which may discolour due to acid in your skin
If you are someone with high acidity in your body, please take extra care of your design, and maybe choose the long 30 inch chain so the design does not touch your skin, you will have no problem with colour fade

PLEASE NOTE;
As my pieces are hand stamped, on some designs there may show a slight marking/indent on the back of the piece. This is due to hammering of the letters as each piece is hammered, this is considered part of the charm of 'hand stamping' as no laser or computer is used in the process.
